PawMatters Project
PawMatters is a student-founded initiative dedicated to raising awareness about canine genetic diseases and the human choices behind them. The project advocates for more ethical and responsible breeding and aims to provide accessible information about genetic conditions, their symptoms, and ways we can help affected dogs. My name is Alex. I’m a 13-year-old student-athlete who loves to play basketball even when it’s raining outside, a mathematician who loves geometry, and, more than anything, an animal lover. Yes, a die-hard animal lover. I live with my parents, grandparents, a younger sister, and an adorable dog. Our dog, Dongdong, came into my life when I was just 9 years old.
